What you'll do

• Install commercial HVAC ductwork, including rectangular, spiral, round, and specialty metal systems.
• Fabricate sheet metal components using shears, brakes, and other fabrication tools as needed.
• Install hangers, supports, and equipment following engineered plans and mechanical drawings.
• Set rooftop units, VAV boxes, air handlers, and other HVAC equipment.
• Seal ducts, test airflow, and ensure systems meet quality and performance standards.
• Work with other trades to coordinate installations and avoid conflicts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Train and assist apprentices or junior installers as needed.

What we're looking for

Experience

3+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience required; OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification; Strong knowledge of HVAC duct systems, fabrication techniques, and installation standards; Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings; Assemble HVAC ductwork pieces; Place hangers and supports; Proficiency with sheet metal tools; Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physical demanding tasks; Ability to work from heights; Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
