What you'll do
- Provide nursing care within scope of practice
- direct nursing staff
- develop care plans as an RN and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
- monitor staff adherence to safety regulations
- follow charting and incident-reporting procedures
- follow procedures for narcotic counts, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction
- document and report changes in resident condition
- use the Quality Life Manual
- document room changes, leaves of absence, admissions, and discharges
- make physician rounds when necessary.

Why this role
