Job overview

The IV Technician role is onsite in Taunton, MA, with pay of $23–$24.50 per hour. The position supports PharMerica's closed-door pharmacy team serving long-term care and senior living clients, with a weekday schedule of rotating shifts: 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m., noon–8:30 p.m., or 2 p.m.–11:30 p.m. The technician prepares sterile medications and prescription orders while maintaining cleanroom standards, documentation, and quality processes. The role supports accurate medication service for long-term care residents and high-risk pregnancy patients and helps maintain a compliant IV department.

What you'll do

• Clean, maintain, and monitor the sterile compounding room under USP 797 and state standards
• compound sterile preparations in a Class 100 cleanroom
• prepare and fill prescriptions and medication orders
• support quality assurance and documentation
• assist pharmacists with data entry and refill coordination
• maintain infusion pumps and equipment
• replenish emergency drug kits
• support inventory, shipping, filing, phones, and stocking
• report compliance concerns.
