Manufacturing Associate — 1st Shift

The Manufacturing Associate role is onsite in Lynchburg, Virginia, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $18.00 per hour. ICP formulates and manufactures specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants for construction and industrial markets. The associate supplies canisters to the production process and prepares filled canisters for warehouse shipment. The role supports daily production by operating and monitoring equipment, following work orders and safety procedures, and maintaining product labeling and work-area standards.

What you'll do

• Follow plant safety requirements, use proper PPE, and comply with procedures and policies
• start up and shut down equipment
• review work orders
• operate equipment and monitor quality
• load empty canisters onto the conveyor and move filled canisters through shaker and, when specified, nitrogen stations
• place filled canisters on pallets
• grease, adjust, or clean production-line parts using hand tools
• make and label boxes and containers
• clean and paint canisters
• shrink-wrap pallets
• move pallets with a pallet jack or tow motor
• maintain work-area cleanliness
• train others when needed and assist with cycle counts when needed.
