Respite Care Coordinator

The Respite Care Coordinator works onsite in Spokane, WA. Compensation is $21.74–$22.84 per hour. The role supports Catholic Charities Eastern Washington’s House of Charity Respite program, helping clients build social determinants of health and transition toward independent living. What you'll do

• Coordinate referrals and intakes with hospitals, clinics, and other providers
• prepare beds for incoming clients
• record attendance and service notes
• complete enrollments and discharge plans
• connect clients with internal and community resources
• support independent-living skills through financial and life-skills coaching
• coordinate activities and transportation
• maintain client files and HMIS data
• help maintain a safe environment
• respond to crises and emergencies
• document significant events
• and protect confidential client information.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field plus one year of direct client-service experience, an associate degree plus three years, or five years of relevant experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to drive for work are required. Night and weekend shifts may be needed.
