CNC Machinist – Night Shift

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, on a night-shift schedule of Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m.–5:15 a.m. Compensation is not specified. Steel Craft Technologies is seeking a machinist for its CNC team. The machinist sets up and operates CNC equipment to produce machined parts to required programs and tolerances. The work supports consistent production through accurate setups, tool adjustments, safe operation, and equipment care.

What you'll do

• Download programs and enter manual data as needed
• set up and machine parts to required programs and tolerances
• recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and adjust equipment
• maintain tools and calibration
• keep the work area clean
• follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions
• operate overhead cranes
• attend work during scheduled hours
• perform other functions as requested.
