The Diesel Mechanic role is an onsite position based in East Saint Louis, IL. The primary purpose of this role is to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units under minimal supervision. The technician ensures fleet equipment remains roadworthy and compliant with all state and federal regulations while maintaining accurate documentation of all repairs and parts usage.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• perform preventative maintenance
• inspect brake and steering systems
• ensure equipment licensing and registration
• document work orders in the Enterprise Asset Management system
• install and repair onboard computers
• train other employees.
