Job overview

The Packer role is onsite in Jackson, OH, with a Monday–Thursday schedule and either a first shift from 3:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or a second shift from 3:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Compensation is $16.25 per hour. Herr Foods Inc. produces food products and offers this position on its Jackson team. The packer prepares and labels boxes, checks product seals and codes, removes defective products, and cleans work areas and equipment. The role also records production and inventory information in the ERP system to support accurate manufacturing and material tracking.

What you'll do

• Assemble and label boxes
• verify product seals, codes, dates, and prices
• remove defective products from the line
• clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
• enter and maintain production data in the ERP system
• track inventory and coordinate material replenishment.
