The Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Webster, MA, for 24 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Pay is up to $45 per hour. Lanessa Extended Care is a 96-bed skilled nursing facility. The dietitian supports resident health by assessing nutrition needs, monitoring weight changes, and maintaining individualized care plans. The role also oversees therapeutic menu planning and meal service, helps educate dietary staff, and monitors food quality, inventory, and compliance with dietary guidelines.
What you'll do
- Monitor resident weights and weight changes and provide nutrition intervention when needed
- complete nutrition evaluations for admissions and weekly or monthly weight audits
- document nutrition-related visits
- create and update resident care plans
- provide point-of-service meal delivery
- follow therapeutic diet guidelines
- educate dietary staff
- oversee therapeutic diet planning, preparation, and service
- maintain inventory including emergency supplies
- plan menus and ensure appropriate substitutions
- ensure food delivery quality and quantity.
