Bridge Inspection Team Leader (NSTM)

The Bridge Inspection Team Leader (NSTM) role is onsite in Round Rock, TX, with travel as needed to inspection projects and clients across Texas. Compensation is not specified. The role joins GBA’s Transportation Group and supports bridge safety and transportation solutions. The team leader directs routine and specialized bridge inspections, evaluates in-service bridge conditions, and prepares reports and supporting calculations. The role also mentors field team members and contributes to preservation, rehabilitation, and transportation design work as needed.

What you'll do

• Lead routine and specialized bridge inspection teams
• inspect and evaluate in-service bridges under applicable standards
• prepare inspection reports and supporting documentation
• assist with or prepare load-rating calculations and reports
• apply structural engineering principles to inspection, evaluation, preservation, and rehabilitation
• support transportation design and multidisciplinary teams as needed
• maintain safety and quality compliance
• collaborate with engineers, clients, and project teams.

Why this role

Requires 7+ years of bridge inspection experience and completion of NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges and NHI Bridge Inspection Techniques for Nonredundant Steel Tension Members courses. Texas PE license and other listed qualifications are preferred.
