What you'll do

• Represent clients in Brooklyn Criminal and Supreme Courts from intake through dismissal, plea, or trial
• build attorney-client relationships
• collaborate with social workers, investigators, paralegals, and administrative staff
• participate in weekday, night, weekend, and holiday arraignment rotations
• prepare and litigate hearings, trials, and motions
• meet with supervisors about caseload and strategy
• advise clients on case decisions and meet with support networks at clients’ request.
