This position supports the Commercial Lending department. The officer develops, originates, underwrites, closes, and manages commercial loan relationships to support Hope Credit Union’s growth and profitability. The role builds business-member and referral relationships, evaluates credit risk, structures lending solutions, monitors portfolio performance, and ensures compliance with lending policies and regulations.

What you'll do

• Develop referral networks and commercial loan and deposit relationships
• assess financing needs and analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and collateral
• prepare loan packages and coordinate closings
• manage portfolio quality, monitor risk and covenant compliance, conduct reviews and site visits, maintain compliant loan files, and promote relevant member products and services.
