Control Room Officer. This is an onsite position in Gainesville, VA. The wage is $23.00 per hour. Securitas helps make the world a safer place. Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What you'll do

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Frequently provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

Previous CCTV, alarm monitoring, and dispatching experience; 2–3 years of data center security experience; and 2–3 years of control room operator experience.
