Custodial Supervisor

The Custodial Supervisor role is onsite in Philadelphia, PA, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and occasional weekends. Pay is $22.00 per hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Elwyn is a nonprofit supporting people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral health challenges. The supervisor directs janitorial crews at contract locations, ensures scheduled work meets contract requirements, and performs cleaning duties as needed. The role assigns tasks, trains staff, inspects work, completes government contract paperwork, and may respond to emergency services after hours or on weekends.

What you'll do

• Assign daily and periodic custodial tasks
• monitor subcontractors and verify service quality
• assist with staff training and performance reviews
• conduct quality-control inspections and ensure deficiencies are corrected
• complete required government contract paperwork
• perform janitorial duties when needed
• supervise staff and serve as customer contact in the manager’s absence
• complete emergency work orders
• assist with snow removal and respond to emergency contract services as needed.
