The role gathers clinical information, performs ordered care and procedures, communicates results and education, documents care, and coordinates with other providers and services.

What you'll do

• Gather and update patient information and vital signs
• administer medications or vaccines
• perform diagnostic screenings, specimen collection, and in-office procedures
• place and review EMR orders
• relay results and recommendations
• educate patients and families
• document care
• respond to urgent or acute situations
• coordinate care with specialties and community resources
• follow protocols and maintain confidentiality.
