Residential HVAC Service Technician

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems
• perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• service split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and packaged units
• troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control issues
• repair HVAC components
• read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• recover and charge refrigerant, detect leaks, and test system performance
• explain repair recommendations to homeowners
• maintain service records and meet safety and quality standards.

Why this role
