What you'll do

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle
• respond to calls and emergencies
• direct or reroute traffic
• detain and question individuals within the position’s authority
• issue citations for Tribal ordinance violations
• conduct preliminary investigations and preserve evidence
• review and approve reports
• lead briefings, schedules, and work assignments
• supervise approximately five or more employees
• support unit goals and operational improvements
• promote community awareness and outreach.
