Refrigeration Service Manager

The Refrigeration Service Manager role is onsite in Buffalo, New York. Pay is $100,000–$125,000 per year. TDH Refrigeration, part of The Arcticom Group, provides commercial and industrial HVACR service, maintenance, and installation services. The manager leads the service operation, overseeing technicians and leads while coordinating daily operations, customer service, sales, and safety. The role supports an efficient and profitable service department through workforce planning, technical support, process improvement, training, and performance oversight.

What you'll do

• Assist employees with commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment diagnosis
• review financial and performance reports
• manage tools, equipment, materials, and safety supplies
• plan labor for assignments and preventive maintenance
• communicate policies
• monitor work areas and safety practices
• establish accident reporting procedures
• improve service processes
• interpret specifications and job orders and assign duties
• coordinate with dispatchers on customer and technical issues
• review warranty, service, startup repair, and installation needs
• resolve work problems
• maintain time and production records
• identify and facilitate training
• supervise service technicians and leads
• assist with after-hours emergency service and technical support as needed.
