Manual Machinist

What you'll do

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders
• select tools, speeds, and feeds
• fabricate, modify, or repair parts and assemblies
• interpret engineering drawings and work orders
• measure and inspect parts with precision instruments
• load and secure materials
• perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• troubleshoot process issues
• maintain production and inspection records
• follow safety and housekeeping standards.
