IT & Workplace Operations Lead

The IT & Workplace Operations Lead is an onsite role in Oswego, IL. Compensation is $90,000–$120,000 per year. Formic’s mission is to make automation accessible to factories through its Robotics-as-a-Service model. This role owns the day-to-day technology and workplace experience, from employee IT and office systems to vendor coordination and workplace operations. It also builds AI-enabled workflows and automation so technology and the workplace function reliably and require less day-to-day attention from the company.

What you'll do

• Own day-to-day IT support across devices, accounts, applications, permissions, onboarding and offboarding, endpoint management, and security controls
• administer SaaS systems and maintain hardware inventory and documentation
• oversee office technology, physical-security technology, and workplace vendors
• coordinate repairs, installations, and office projects
• use AI, scripts, APIs, integrations, and automation platforms to simplify repetitive work
• partner with managed IT and security specialists and support SOC 2 documentation and controls.
