The Controller, Cannabis Operations is a hybrid role based in Boulder, CO, with at least three days in the office each week. The base salary range is $150,000–$185,000 per year, depending on experience. Centaurus Farms develops cannabis cultivation and production facilities and produces flower and extracted products. As the first full-time finance hire, the Controller will build a dependable finance function for a multi-entity operator. The role owns accounting close, inventory valuation, cost accounting, tax and compliance, cash management, budgets, controls, and finance-system implementation while supporting operations in Colorado and Kentucky.

What you'll do

• Run monthly close and consolidated reporting across operating entities
• manage parent-company books and intercompany activity
• own inventory valuation, cost accounting, and reconciliations
• lead the finance side of inventory and manufacturing system rollout
• oversee tax filings and compliance coordination
• manage cash forecasting, payables, receivables, payroll oversight, banking, and lender reporting
• prepare budget-versus-actual reporting
• establish practical controls
• manage the bookkeeper
• travel periodically to Kentucky.
