Support Specialist, Engagement Center

The Support Specialist, Engagement Center role is onsite in downtown Pittsburgh, PA, with a salary range of $41,000–$46,000 per year. Community Family Advocates and Allegheny County are building an Engagement Center to help adults move from homelessness toward housing and other personal goals. The specialist welcomes and orients clients, helps address immediate needs, and connects them with services and resources. The role also supports a safe, organized center environment and coordinates with staff and providers to help clients pursue housing and other goals.

What you'll do

• Welcome, engage, and orient clients
• coordinate showers, laundry, and other basic services
• help clients find food, clothing, and shelter
• assist with Medical Assistance, SNAP, and other enrollments
• provide coaching and support to people in recovery
• connect clients with services
• coordinate with center staff and providers
• maintain a welcoming environment.
