X-Ray Technologist (ARRT, LSO, LSRT)

The X-Ray Technologist (ARRT, LSO, LSRT) role is onsite in Castle Rock, CO, with pay of $26–$32 per hour. American Family Care provides primary and urgent care, including in-house X-ray capability at its centers. The technologist performs diagnostic imaging to help physicians diagnose injuries and disease, while supporting related clinical and administrative needs when appropriate.

What you'll do

• Greet patients and explain procedures
• position patients for imaging
• use ALARA radiation protection techniques
• process images and check identification and quality before preparing them for physician review and radiologist overreads. Operate digital and non-digital imaging equipment according to approved techniques and policies, assist with prescribed treatments as needed, maintain equipment and arrange repairs, and keep records. Serve as a medical receptionist or medical assistant when needed and within appropriate guidelines.

Why this role

ARRT registration or board eligibility is preferred; state licensure is required. Medical Assistant certification or registry, practical nursing license, EMT, or paramedic certification may be acceptable in some states.
