Senior Accountant, Audit & Tax

Job overview

The Senior Accountant, Audit & Tax role is hybrid in Lombard, IL, with three days in the office and two remote. Compensation is $100,000–$120,000 per year. Catalano, Caboor & Co. is a public accounting firm providing audit and tax services to clients in the western Chicago suburbs.

What you'll do

• Plan, perform, and document audit, review, and compilation engagements
• lead audit fieldwork and draft financial statements
• prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, S-corporation, and nonprofit tax returns
• research tax issues and assist with tax planning
• review staff work
• manage engagement budgets, deadlines, and workload
• contribute to process improvements and technology adoption.
