Community Outreach Coordinator

The Community Outreach Coordinator is an onsite role in Arlington, VA, paying $24–$26 per hour. The position supports the Animal Welfare League of Arlington’s Community Resources department and its work connecting people and pets with resources that help keep families together. The coordinator builds community partnerships, supports resource programs and vaccine clinics, organizes outreach events, and tracks participation and outcomes. The role helps make AWLA services accessible throughout Arlington and strengthens connections among residents, pets, and community resources.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with Arlington residents and community partners
• support Pet Pantry and other resource programs
• coordinate outreach events and vaccine clinic logistics
• coordinate volunteers and assigned temporary program participants
• maintain supplies, expenses, participation data, and outcome reports
• represent AWLA at community meetings and events
• coordinate review of public-facing materials.
