General Surgeon – Wound Care

The General Surgeon – Wound Care is a hybrid, part-time role based in Lebanon, VA, with facility visits within a 40–60 mile radius. Compensation is $200,000–$350,000 per year. The role supports Vohra Physicians’ National Wound Physician Group, which provides bedside wound care in post-acute care facilities. The surgeon conducts wound rounds and provides physician-level wound management at skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. The role contributes to patient care through clinical assessment and treatment, real-time documentation, and collaboration with the wound care team.

What you'll do

• Provide bedside wound management at skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
• conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities
• visit two to three facilities per day and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day
• document care in the wound-specific electronic medical record
• complete a minimum of three weekdays per week
• participate in paid onboarding and wound care fellowship training.
