The Machine Operator – Night Shift role is onsite in Round Pond, ME, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Starting pay for a Level 1 Apprentice is $21.28 per hour, including a 12% shift differential, and may be higher based on experience. Masters Machine Company produces parts for its customers. The operator runs machining equipment and follows technical specifications to produce quality parts. Depending on the machine assignment, the work includes interpreting blueprints, selecting tooling and machining settings, following safety practices, performing routine preventive maintenance, and communicating maintenance needs.

What you'll do

• Operate assigned horizontal mill, vertical mill, or screw machine
• produce parts to specifications
• read and interpret blueprints and technical data
• determine tooling, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods as applicable
• follow safety guidelines
• perform general preventive maintenance
• communicate maintenance needs to the Cell Manager or Production Manager.
