The Family Practice Physician role is onsite in South Milwaukee, WI, with compensation not specified. The Muslim Community & Health Center is expanding access to community-based primary, behavioral, dental, and specialty care through a new location. The physician provides comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, including preventive services and management of acute and chronic conditions. The role contributes to integrated, culturally responsive care for diverse and underserved patients and supports continuity, quality, and population health goals.

What you'll do

• Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• deliver exams, immunizations, screenings, and health education
• manage chronic diseases
• perform routine in-office procedures
• provide women’s health services including contraceptive counseling
• coordinate with behavioral health, dental, and specialty providers
• document in the EHR
• participate in care huddles, case conferences, quality improvement, outreach, and care-gap closure
• participate in after-hours call rotation as needed.

Why this role

Minimum part-time commitment is 20 hours (2.5 days) per week. Requires an MD or DO, accredited Family Medicine residency, board certification or eligibility, active unrestricted Wisconsin medical license, DEA certification, and BLS certification. Applicants who may have J-1 or H-1B visas are accepted.
