What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with child development activities and records
• implement the HighScope curriculum and applicable Head Start and DC standards
• observe children and support portfolios and individual plans
• build positive relationships with children and families
• assist with home visits and parent-teacher conferences
• support IFSPs and IEPs
• maintain safe, sanitary classroom and playground conditions
• follow health and safety procedures and attend staff learning.
