The Care Professional role is onsite in Antioch, CA. Compensation is $19 per hour. The role supports Choice in Aging’s mission to help frail older adults and adults with disabilities remain independent, retain dignity, and engage in an active life. Working under the Activity Coordinator’s supervision and the Program Director’s direction, the Care Professional leads and assists with program activities, supports clients’ physical and social needs, and documents daily interactions and wellbeing. The role contributes to a respectful, safe program environment and participants’ engagement and care.

What you'll do

• Lead and assist with program activities
• build respectful relationships and provide companionship
• assist with daily living activities including toileting, feeding, ambulating, transferring, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• provide safety supervision and emotional support
• assist with food preparation and meal service
• help maintain clean program areas
• complete assigned client documentation
• maintain confidentiality.
