What you'll do

• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide classroom or individualized instruction as needed to support the goals and objectives of the children in your classroom.
• Be a resource to children with special needs or individualized plans.
• Support the teacher in managing classroom schedules, routines and transitions.
• Ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the children in the program.
• Contribute to the creation of an environment which fosters the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development of each child in your care.
