Lead Substation Engineer

The Lead Substation Engineer is an onsite position based in Southern Md Facility, MD, with an annual salary range of $107,900 to $195,050. This role supports the Leidos Power Delivery Services Team, focusing on substation physical and protection and control (P&C) design projects. The role exists to execute substation projects from scoping to final design and implementation. The engineer leads a design team, performs quality control checks, and ensures compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget while adhering to client standards.

What you'll do

• Executes substation physical and P&C projects
• performs quality control checks on designs
• reads and designs one-line, three-line, schematic, and wiring drawings
• creates and checks bills of materials
• provides project lifecycle support
• applies National Electrical Safety Code requirements.
