What you'll do

• Provide preventive and periodontal care, including cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• complete oral-health assessments and periodontal charting and communicate findings to the dentist
• educate patients about home care, treatment recommendations, and prevention
• apply fluoride and sealants and administer local anesthesia when appropriately qualified
• maintain patient records and follow infection-control and safety protocols
• coordinate care with the dentist, clinical team, and front office.
