What you'll do

• Examine patients and review care plans and records
• complete laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and bandage wounds
• assist with examinations and operations
• maintain patient food, water, and clean spaces
• document patient conditions and changes
• communicate patient status to owners as directed
• maintain equipment and inventory
• release pets as directed
• support operating room schedules, anesthesia protocols, and surgical patient care.
