Electrical Assembler

The Electrical Assembler role is onsite in Ballston Spa, NY. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour, DOE. The assembler supports a client’s manufacturing facility, whose installed train converters and onboard systems serve rail systems in 30 countries. The role builds complete mechanical, opto-mechanical, and electrical systems, including prototype or one-of-a-kind assemblies, and supports preparation and shipment. Accurate work from engineering drawings and careful handling of small components help the team deliver finished systems.

What you'll do

• Perform mechanical, opto-mechanical, and electrical assembly with minimal supervision
• assist Engineering with prototype or one-of-a-kind assemblies
• assemble complete systems from frames, enclosures, electrical cabinets, opto-mechanics, and robotics
• prepare, crate, and ship products
• occasionally assist with material management
• generate ECOs and maintain records.
