The Life Enrichment Director — Assisted Living role is onsite in Sterling Heights, MI. Pay is $60,000 per year. The director plans and facilitates activities that address residents’ social, emotional, recreational, spiritual, educational, and physical needs. By coordinating programs, transportation, volunteers, and staff, the role contributes to resident-centered living and supports the community’s daily operations.

What you'll do

• Plan and facilitate activities throughout the week
• create and distribute a monthly activity calendar
• use resident life stories to tailor programming
• manage activity supplies, inventory, and budget records
• coordinate transportation and volunteers
• collaborate with the Executive Director, Wellness Director, Resident Council, and other department heads
• supervise Life Enrichment Assistants
• provide coverage for activities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Why this role

Requires at least one year working with seniors and state-required training within the applicable timeframe. A degree or experience in human services, recreational therapy, music therapy, or art therapy is desired. May be required to serve as weekend Manager on Duty.
