The Senior UNIX/Linux Systems Engineer role is hybrid, with onsite support at least two days per week in Washington, DC. What you'll do

• Own engineering and architecture decisions for RHEL and Oracle Linux
• design patch and configuration management
• lead operating system migrations and modernization
• maintain security hardening baselines and support vulnerability remediation and federal compliance
• engineer performance, capacity, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery
• lead escalations and outage response
• mentor administrators
• document designs and procedures
• install, configure, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot Linux systems.
