What you'll do

• Process weekly multi-state payroll
• review payroll for discrepancies involving wages, deductions, taxes, benefits, and garnishments
• maintain payroll employee information and deductions
• coordinate employee changes with HR and Benefits
• respond to employee and manager payroll questions
• monitor federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance
• coordinate tax cases and notices
• review quarterly and year-end tax returns and W-2 reconciliations
• prepare payroll journal entries
• reconcile payroll bank and general ledger accounts
• prepare payroll reports
• provide documentation for financial reporting and audits
• assist with workers’ compensation and 401(k) audits
• maintain confidentiality.
