Certified Orthotic Fitter

The Certified Orthotic Fitter role is onsite in Woburn, MA, with pay of $24–$30 per hour. Hanger’s clinic provides patient care through fitting and adjustment of orthotic devices. The fitter evaluates patient needs, fits and adjusts devices, instructs patients in their use, and follows up with patients and physicians. The role helps maintain device fit, function, medical efficacy, and quality while supporting patient care and clinic operations.

What you'll do

• Evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss
• provide patient care for devices within scope
• assess and adjust orthotic devices for fit, function, medical efficacy, and quality
• instruct patients in device use
• address device issues
• document clinical notes
• support reimbursement information
• follow up with patients and physicians
• provide in-service training to physicians and allied health professionals
• assist clinical staff
• comply with safety, Medicare, HIPAA, bloodborne pathogen, and OSHA requirements.
