Assistant Property Manager — Affordable Senior Housing

The Assistant Property Manager works onsite at Capitol Villa in Salt Lake City, UT. Pay is $21.75–$24.00 per hour, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Community Housing Services is a Utah nonprofit working to provide safe, affordable, dignified housing regardless of financial circumstances. The role supports the Property Manager and helps operate a 108-apartment senior community. It assists applicants and residents with housing processes, maintains accurate HUD and accounting records, and helps coordinate resident activities and property needs.

What you'll do

• Support the Property Manager and run the property in their absence
• interview housing applicants and assist with move-in under HUD and CHS requirements
• prepare and verify HUD 50059 certifications and HAP requests
• maintain accurate accounting forms and reports
• help plan resident meetings, social activities, and community events
• organize resident volunteers and track hours
• welcome residents, vendors, and visitors
• assist with work orders when needed.
