Engineering Technician

Job overview

The Engineering Technician works onsite in Marlborough, MA. Compensation is $60,000–$80,000 per year. Aspen Systems develops custom compact cooling systems for medical, laboratory, military, and electronics applications. The technician works with the engineering team to build, optimize, and test miniature cooling systems and prototypes. The work helps translate engineering designs into tested systems and supports their transition toward production.

What you'll do

• Build prototype units and test fixtures from engineering drawings and specifications
• perform mechanical assembly, brazing, refrigeration charging, tube bending, insulation, and simple wiring
• instrument prototypes with thermocouples and pressure gauges
• execute tests
• and communicate preliminary results.
