Forklift Operator – First Shift

The Forklift Operator – First Shift role is onsite in Covington, KY, with full-time employment and pay of $18–$22 per hour. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with overtime on Saturdays. The role supports production and shipping operations at Hood Container Corporation. The operator safely moves stock to production machines and removes finished goods while maintaining organized storage areas and accurate inventory records. The work helps keep production supplied and equipment utilized according to the daily schedule.

What you'll do

• Operate and care for a forklift safely
• complete inspection forms and report needed repairs
• locate stock before production runs
• deliver stock to machines and remove finished goods
• maintain orderly storage stacks and accurate stock locations
• complete paperwork and production, machine, safety, and quality reports
• follow production schedules and company safety and housekeeping procedures
• back up the Shipping Lead Person as needed.
