Accounts Receivable Medical Biller

Job overview

What you'll do

• Follow up on unpaid insurance claims and outstanding balances
• research and resolve denials, rejections, and underpayments
• contact insurers about claim status and payment delays
• submit corrected claims and appeals as needed
• document collection efforts and maintain account records
• collaborate with billing and practice staff
• maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
