What you'll do

• Prepare meals and snacks according to menus, recipes, and dietary requirements
• follow modified diets and special dietary needs as directed
• prepare, cook, store, and serve food at appropriate temperatures
• maintain a clean, sanitary, organized kitchen
• follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• assist with meal service and presentation
• label, date, and store food
• monitor supplies and communicate inventory needs to the Dietary Manager
• work with dietary and nursing staff to meet residents’ needs.
