The Procurement Analyst (Buyer) — IT Sourcing role is onsite in Plano, TX. Compensation is $35–$40 per hour. The role supports the client’s Indirect Procurement Shared Services department and technology procurement activities. The position develops and executes sourcing strategies for technology categories, manages sourcing and negotiation processes, and processes purchase-order requests. Its work supports enterprise cost reduction and risk mitigation while meeting business needs through supplier relationships and procurement contracts.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement multi-year sourcing strategies for technology spend categories
• lead requests for proposals, information, and quotes with cross-functional teams
• support development and execution of procurement contracts
• build relationships with business units and suppliers
• negotiate pricing and pursue cost savings while mitigating financial and legal risks
• manage sourcing, price negotiations, and business requests
• process supplier purchase orders
• support technology procurement and sourcing activities.

Why this role
