What you'll do

• Collect non-Medicare and non-Medicaid accounts receivable
• submit appeal letters and inquiries to payors
• contact patients, physicians’ offices, and third parties for information
• work with Insurance, Pre-certification, Registration, Nursing, Medical Records, and other hospital personnel
• respond to billing, balance, and data questions
• update assigned patient account information
• review past-due accounts for possible referral to outside collections.
