Personal Care Aide

The Personal Care Aide role is an onsite, part-time opportunity based in Maysville, KY, with pay of $13–$18 per hour. Avid Health at Home provides personalized in-home care services and serves clients across Kentucky and Ohio. The aide supports clients’ daily living and personal care according to physician and client care plans. The role also provides companionship, helps maintain a safe home environment, documents services, and reports changes in client condition to the agency and designated representative.

What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers, and ambulation
• support therapy exercises under a registered therapist’s direction
• prepare meals according to dietary requirements
• perform care-related light housekeeping and laundry
• assist with errands and appointments
• provide companionship
• remind clients about self-administration of medication but do not administer medication
• document services and report changes or incidents.
