Cardiac Sonographer I - Pediatrics The Novant Health Pediatric Cardiology team is seeking a full-time Cardiac Sonographer I in Charlotte, NC. This is an onsite position with a Monday-Friday schedule. Compensation is not specified. The Cardiac Sonographer I is responsible for daily operations of the echo lab, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality improvement. The sonographer maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the anatomy and pathology.

What you'll do

• Review daily schedules to ensure timely patient flow.
• Communicate with the lead regarding priorities and workflow.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure their comfort.
• Prepare and perform required scans prior to examinations.
• Document findings and complete accurate reports.
• Clean and sanitize exam rooms between patients to maintain safety standards.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, preferred.

Experience

1 year of experience, preferred.
