The engineer builds and validates performance and power models, develops analysis tools, and tests server platforms to inform architecture and product decisions. The work connects measured system behavior with projections for AI and data-intensive workloads.

What you'll do

• Build performance and power models for SSDs and DRAM in servers and data centers
• write modeling, analysis, or automation tools in Python, C/C++, or similar languages
• use benchmarks, workload traces, and field telemetry
• test server platforms and measure throughput, latency, bandwidth, endurance, and power
• analyze AI and data-intensive workloads
• share assumptions, results, and recommendations
• contribute to simulation or emulation work when needed.
