Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Cedartown, GA, with a stated schedule of 5:30 AM–5:00 PM Monday through Friday and Saturdays 6:00 AM–1:00 PM as needed; pay is $22–$28 per hour. GardenCore manufactures lawn and garden consumables at facilities across the United States. The mechanic keeps manufacturing equipment and company facilities operating safely and reliably. The role performs preventive maintenance, diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues, repairs equipment, and supports production needs.

What you'll do

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment, electrical components, and special-purpose machines
• diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using schematics and reference materials
• use hand and power tools
• inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels
• perform preventive maintenance
• dismantle equipment and replace defective parts
• support facility maintenance.
